Help us advance the cause of the APRNs of Georgia while expanding your professional network and skills.

You have two ways to join. Either register online and pay via PayPal, or fill-out the membership form and send it with a check via mail.

 

UAPRN now has a Facebook page!

Find us as “UAPRN of Georgia” on facebook and immediately conne ct with other APN’s across the state. Please remember that anyone can join this group so do not share private information. However, Facebook is a great way to have fun finding out what is going on around our state with UAPRN activities, advance practice nursing opportunities, community events and more. Share your updates regarding issues related to your profession using this tool that will allow others to connect with their State Advance Nursing Organization because UAPRN is “Your Voice” so let your voice be heard.

In addition to Facebook please remember to join and utilize our yahoo groups at UAPRNofGA07 as this is a great way to ask questions about your profession that you may want a direct answer in response. Yahoo is a better tool for asking professional questions, finding roommates to conferences, and informing people of important updates and changes.

As always you want to hear from your UAPRN leaders regarding important information about State and Local Chapter information. Make sure that you are on our listserve with your preferred e-mail. If you have not already join our secured list serve that allows you to receive important updates.

So again, we are working hard to keep you connected and we have four different ways to accomplish this:

  • Ensure you are on the listserve to get important from your state leaders.

  • Join Yahoo groups to ask your fellow peers questions.

  • “Friend” UAPRN of Georgia on Facebook to post and read about other APN’s happenings.

UAPRN Membership Is Your Voice

Thank you for joining United Advanced Practice Registered Nurses of Georgia as we are the organization that is responsible for protecting APRN’s across the state and need your support to in order to grow, protect and serve. Remember, we need you as an active member to help our organization grow and remove barriers to APRN practice in the state of Georgia.

 

Helpful Tips to successful UAPRN membership:

  • Fill out the application carefully especially your email address!!!

  • Fill out only one application.

  • Your username and password plus an invitation to yahoo groups will come after paid membership is confirmed. You may print your paypal receipt for membership confirmation in order to bring to local meetings.

  • We now have rolling membership - renewal 12 months from the date of enrollment.

  • If someone other than the new or renewing member is paying via paypal please e-mail our secretary (uaprnsecretary@hotmail.com) and let her know that payment and membership have a different name so that she can match them up.
